Read from each brand's own label, a Canna River Classic Gummy contains 100 mg of CBD and a Charlotte's Web Daily Care 25 MG THC-Free gummy contains 12.5 mg. The "25 MG" on the Charlotte's Web jar is per serving, and its Supplement Facts panel defines a serving as two gummies. Once serving sizes are lined up, Canna River costs 0.67 to 1.33 cents per milligram of cannabinoid on the products compared here, and Charlotte's Web about 3.6 to 9.2 cents. The rest of this page shows the working, and where Charlotte's Web has the edge.
Why serving size changes everything
Most CBD comparisons fail at the first step: they put one brand's per-serving number next to another brand's per-piece number. Charlotte's Web gummies list amounts per two-gummy serving. Canna River gummies list amounts per gummy, and the serving is one gummy. The only safe way to compare is to reduce both to the same two figures: milligrams per piece and total milligrams in the container. Everything below is computed that way from prices and labels checked on October 21, 2026.
Broad spectrum CBD gummies
| Charlotte's Web Daily Care 25 MG THC-Free | Canna River Classic Gummies, Broad Spectrum (Non-THC) | |
|---|---|---|
| Label serving | 2 gummies = 25 mg CBD | 1 gummy = 100 mg CBD |
| CBD per gummy | 12.5 mg | 100 mg |
| Count | 60 | 30 |
| Total CBD in the container | 750 mg | 3,000 mg |
| List price | $59.99 | $35 |
| Cents per mg of CBD | 8.0¢ | 1.17¢ |
Put another way, 100 mg of CBD costs $1.17 as one Canna River gummy and $8.00 as eight Charlotte's Web gummies. Neither brand is hiding anything: both numbers are printed on the packaging. They are simply printed per different units.
CBN gummies
The two brands build their CBN gummies differently, so this is a composition comparison as much as a price one. Charlotte's Web's 20mg CBN gummy is a CBN-only gummy made with cannabinol isolate. Canna River's CBD + CBN gummy pairs the two cannabinoids in equal amounts.
| Charlotte's Web 20mg CBN Gummies, 60 count | Canna River CBD + CBN Gummies, 30 count | |
|---|---|---|
| Per gummy | 10 mg CBN | 50 mg CBD + 50 mg CBN |
| Total CBN in the container | 600 mg | 1,500 mg (plus 1,500 mg CBD) |
| List price | $54.99 | $35 |
| Cents per mg of CBN | 9.2¢ | 2.3¢, before counting the CBD |
Charlotte's Web also sells a 90-count jar for $69.99, which brings its figure down to 7.8 cents per mg of CBN. The Canna River figure charges the whole price to the CBN and gives the CBD away for free; counting both cannabinoids, it is 1.17 cents per mg.
CBD oils and tinctures
Charlotte's Web describes its oil strengths as "approx." milligrams per 1 mL serving, so the bottle totals below are approximate. Canna River prints the bottle total on the label, for example "3000mg CBD / 30mL", which works out to 100 mg per mL.
| Oil | Type | CBD per mL | Bottle total | Price | Cents per mg |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Charlotte's Web Daily Care 25 MG THC-Free, 30 mL | Broad spectrum | ~25 mg | ~750 mg | $49.99 | ~6.7¢ |
| Charlotte's Web Original Formula 50 MG, 30 mL | Full spectrum | ~50 mg | ~1,500 mg | $119.99 | ~8.0¢ |
| Charlotte's Web Daily Care 60 MG, 100 mL | Not labeled THC-free | ~60 mg | ~6,000 mg | $214.99 | ~3.6¢ |
| Canna River Classic Tincture, 30 mL | Broad or Full Spectrum | 100 mg | 3,000 mg | $40 | 1.33¢ |
| Canna River Classic Tincture, 120 mL | Broad or Full Spectrum | 100 mg | 12,000 mg | $80 | 0.67¢ |
Canna River prices its Broad Spectrum (Non-THC) and Full Spectrum (Contains THC) versions the same, so the choice between them is never a price decision. For the full Canna River price ladder, see CBD price per milligram.
What "THC-free" means on each label
Both brands sell CBD without detectable THC, and both define the term on their own pages, but not in quite the same words.
- Charlotte's Web uses "THC-Free" and footnotes it two ways. On its Calm gummies page: "THC-Free means non-detectable levels of THC." On its Daily Care 25 MG THC-Free oil page: "Less than 0.01% (or 100ppm) of THC."
- Canna River uses "Broad Spectrum (Non-THC)" and ties it to the batch report: the lab looked for THC and reported none above its detection limit. Why "non-detect" is a measurement rather than a promise of zero is explained in what Non-THC actually means.
If you are drug tested, the practical advice is the same for either brand: look up the batch report for the exact package in your hand, not a sample report for the product line.
Where Charlotte's Web has the edge
A label-to-label comparison should say what the other side does well, and Charlotte's Web does several things well.
- Small amounts are easy. A 12.5 mg gummy suits someone who wants a small, fixed amount without cutting anything in half. Canna River's smallest gummy is 100 mg.
- Organic gummy ingredients. The Daily Care gummy lists organic tapioca syrup, organic cane sugar and organic broad spectrum hemp extract.
- Certified B Corporation. The B Corp mark is printed on the Supplement Facts panels.
- Batch reports. Charlotte's Web says every batch is third-party tested and comes with a certificate of analysis, which is the same standard Canna River publishes against.
Where Canna River has the edge
- Milligrams per dollar. On every pair above, Canna River delivers roughly four to eight times the cannabinoid content per dollar at list price.
- Per-piece labeling. One gummy is one serving, so the number on the front of the package is the number in each piece.
- Published batch library. Reports are searchable by batch code in a public library, covered in Is Canna River CBD Lab Tested?
- Independent recognition. Forbes Health named Canna River Calm Gummies Best Broad-Spectrum CBD Gummy and the Classic Tincture Best Broad-Spectrum CBD Oil in its 2026 rankings. See Canna River in the press.
Frequently asked questions
How much CBD is in one Charlotte's Web Daily Care 25 MG gummy?
12.5 mg. The label serving is two gummies containing 25 mg of CBD in total.
Is Canna River cheaper than Charlotte's Web?
Per milligram, yes, on every product compared here. At October 2026 list prices, Canna River ranges from 0.67 to 1.33 cents per mg of cannabinoid and Charlotte's Web from about 3.6 to 9.2 cents.
Do both brands sell THC-free CBD?
Yes. Charlotte's Web calls it THC-Free; Canna River calls it Broad Spectrum (Non-THC). Both mean no THC was detected by the lab's method, and both brands also sell full spectrum products that contain THC.
How do I compare any two CBD brands fairly?
Find the total milligrams in the container and divide the price by it. Then check the serving size, because "per serving" can mean one piece or two. How to read a CBD label walks through each line.
Are these prices current?
They were checked on both websites on October 21, 2026, before subscriptions, bundles or discount codes. Prices change, so recheck before you buy.
